Wren Kitchens opens £20 million quartz manufacturing facility this summer in North Lincolnshire creating 300 jobs

Wren Kitchens opens Europe’s largest quartz worktop processing centre this month which will create up to 300 new jobs in North Lincolnshire. The 150,000 sq.ft. Scunthorpe North site will cater for the unprecedented demand of affordable quartz stone worktops, and it will complement Wren’s current quartz manufacturing facility in Barton-upon-Humber.  The UK’s largest independent kitchen specialist has transformed the former DHL facility on Foxhills Industrial Estate in Scunthorpe, and in July 2021 it officially began fabricating stone quartz worktops using hi-tech, computerised machinery which has arrived from across the world.
