This week, Europe’s number one kitchen retail specialist Wren Kitchens launches its second US showroom in Newington, CT bringing its total number of branches to 107 across the USA and the UK.
Kitchen specialists Wren opened the biggest ever kitchen showroom in US in Milford, CT last November and is continuing its expansion by opening further showrooms in Levittown and Selden, NY, in the coming months.
The brand new Newington showroom is located at 2631 Berlin Turnpike and has provided a significant job boost to the local area. 33 new roles have been created which include showroom managers, kitchen designers, weekend sales advisors and measure technicians. In turn, this has also created a further 30 jobs across manufacturing, customer services, engineering and transport at its state-of-the-art manufacturing headquarters in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania where all Wren kitchens are made to order for its US customers.
Under one roof, the new 21,355 sq. ft. showroom has 65 full sized kitchen displays to explore. Each kitchen can be tailored to the customers desires with thousands of ranges, styles and cabinets to choose from. Wren offers a palette of over 2,000 colors, so customers are sure to find a kitchen that’s perfect for them. As well as cabinets, Wren also offers the biggest and best selection of appliances, storage solutions, granite, quartz and luxury laminate countertops, sinks, faucets, accessories and much more!
Offering a full circle service from design, manufacturing, delivery and installation, Wren Kitchens are a private, family owned business who cut out the middlemen at every stage to pass the savings directly onto their customers.
At the heart of the Newington showroom are two virtual reality studios where customers can use VR headsets to see a full scale replica of the kitchen they have designed with their expert Wren Designer. Each customer is also provided with free photorealistic images and 360° panoramas which they can view at home and really get a feel for how their new space will look in situ.
Wren is passionate about being part of the local community and has installed two dedicated design suites within their new showroom. These free-to-use suites are specifically designed for local designers and architects to use with clients or if they would like to take part in on one of our inspirational design and color trend events. Local dignitaries including the Deputy Mayor of Newington Gail Budrejko, Newington Town Manager Keith Chapman as well as several town councilors, and also TV and radio stations will be attending the grand opening of Wren Kitchens Newington to cut the ribbon and join in the celebrations this Friday, 18th June.

All Wren showrooms are pet and child friendly with play zones, baby changing facilities, a stroller park and a relaxing coffee area.
The showroom also features a child-safe kitchen which is packed full of design tips to keep little ones safe; such as door safety catches and locks, appliances located out of reach, cool-to-touch induction hobs and storage ideas for cleaning products.
Wren manufactures every one of its kitchens in its 252,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The leading kitchen manufacturer and retailer has invested $15.4 million in the facility as well as transforming its onsite headquarters and offices to provide support for showrooms across the East coast. Wren has also invested in its own fleet of trucks to deliver affordable luxury kitchens to customers across the country.
