Apple Strudel is a much-loved dessert that you can enjoy all year round! Serve with creamy vanilla ice cream in Summer or silky-smooth custard in Winter.
- 1 sheet puff pastry (frozen)
- 3 large cooking apples
- 1 grated zest of orange
- 2 1/2 tablespoons marmalade
- 1/4 cup sultanas
After defrosting the puff pastry, roll it out with a rolling pin to create a rectangle (30×25 cm).
Soak the sultanas in warm water, then peel and slice the apples.
Lay the apples at the center of the pastry along its entire length. Drain and dry the sultanas, spreading them evenly over the apples, then add the orange zest and marmalade.
Fold the pastry in half and pinch the ends to seal in the ingredients.
Slide the strudel onto the greased crisp® plate and brush the top with a little milk. Cook using the crisp® function for 10-12 minutes.
