A Dreamy Two-Tone Design

Connecticut, US / Designed by: Zachary Briggs

Fareed and Danielle have completely transformed their kitchen into a functional and fabulous design that allows for more family time. Timeless and elegant, their choice of Shaker Chelsea cabinets look right at home in their open-plan space.

Fareed and Danielle have included the most classic way of creating a two-tone kitchen by opting for different colored cabinets that pair perfectly. The smooth Ceramic matte cabinets on the top draw the eye upwards and create the illusion of more space and the Smoke Blue Matte cabinets provide a calming essence and seaside vibes.

“The one thing everyone highlights is the lighting. Our new kitchen is a lot brighter, and the colors are more modern. It feels like we’ve stepped into the new age!” Explains Fareed.

The two-tone theme is carried on throughout; Xena Quartz countertops in a Blanca Arabescato finish frame the cabinets and to soften the look, they’ve chosen the warming tones of the European Walnut timber breakfast bar.

To elevate their culinary talents, the couple have opted for a KitchenAid double electric wall oven neatly integrated into the tower cabinets and a black gas JennAir cooktop close by. There’s even a large built-in refrigerator with an ice and water dispenser – the dream addition to any busy household.
