Former World Snooker Champion, Dennis Taylor admires precision when he sees it, which is one of the reasons he’s so delighted with his new kitchen!
Dennis and his wife Louise have completely renovated their tired cream country kitchen, with a jaw-dropping modern Milano Elements Italian Concrete design, complete with a striking Valenza Xena Quartz Island and matching splashback.
Central to the design is an impressive hidden Faber downdraft extractor and sleek NEFF induction hob located in the middle of the island which creates the perfect social space for showcasing his cooking skills to friends and family at his home in North Wales.
Dennis and Louise contrasted the white quartz worktops and splashbacks with high-gloss Italian concrete-effect cabinets with glistening copper profiles.
The contemporary space is packed full of integrated NEFF appliances for the ultimate chef’s paradise including a warming drawer, microwave, Slide&Hide oven and an integrated dishwasher.
This sleek minimalistic design is as organised behind closed doors with a pull-out LeMans storage corner unit and a dreamy six shelf pantry, perfect for storing all those essential ingredients.
The only thing that remains is for the couple to enjoy their new kitchen with friends and family. “We’ve not had anyone round yet. So, I might get former World Snooker Champion Ken Doherty to officially open it. He’s coming over soon for a few games of golf. That would be quite special, wouldn’t it?”

Dennis admires precision when he sees it, which is one of the reasons why he’s so delighted with his new kitchen. “I love the quartz work surfaces,” he says. “The great care and attention taken when it was brought in to be installed reminded me a little of the slate surface used for snooker tables.”
Top Tip
“It’s so bright in the room now,” Dennis explains.
“The gloss finish bounces the light around the space, and the copper colour is something of a theme. We have Wren copper wirework lights, and Louise even found a kettle, toaster and fruit bowls in the same shade – everything looks great together.”
