Interior stylists Heather and Luke, known as @interior_styling_18 on Instagram, opted for bold colour and streamlined cabinetry to bring an atmospheric feel to their contemporary kitchen design.
The handleless Milano Ultra cabinets celebrate uninterrupted runs of smooth, structured lines and provide the perfect backdrop for the centrally located statement island. Glistening white worktops frame the Pencil grey units and island, creating a sleek and sophisticated contrast.
An open plan layout allows Heather and Luke to come together with their young daughter Ava and do the things they love. Their spacious island with cascading white worktops is the perfect platform to gather as a family and bake. A seamlessly integrated hob is fitted in the centre of the island, making excellent use of the extra counter space.
Soft close doors mean they don’t have to worry about six-year-old Ava trapping her fingers, an intelligent design choice to create a family-friendly kitchen.
Compact tower units with integrated appliances stand proud at either end of the kitchen, framing an open counter space with a glistening chrome sink. The left side houses a 6-shelf pantry, a self-cleaning AEG oven, and the family’s most used appliance – the AEG coffee machine. To the right, an AEG Combi-Quick and a second self-cleaning oven are neatly housed next to a discreet and spacious integrated fridge freezer. The glossy black frontage of the appliances means they enhance the sleek design rather than hinder it. Perfect additions to this modern family kitchen.
