Worktops
Frequently Asked Questions
If you have purchased Quartz, Granite or Corian worktops a template appointment will be required. This is the process of measuring up for your specialist worktops using a laser. The template forms a plan for us to be able to produce the worktops that are completely bespoke to your kitchen.
Typically, a template appointment takes between 1–3 hours. This is dependent on the size and design of the kitchen. The installation will take between 2–3 hours, also dependant on the size and complexity of the kitchen design.
Our worktop team book all template dates in at a set lead time to ensure all our customers get their worktops as soon as possible. The earliest template date within your area is always provided. Should any earlier template dates become available our team will call you as soon as possible to offer a new date.
You or your appointed representative must be present during the template and installation. The templating will finalise vital decisions regarding your worktops including position of joints, overhangs, and other key finishing touches. Click here for our Xena Quartz Brochure to find out more details.
You must also be present at installation to ensure you are happy with the worktops and you can discuss any questions with our worktop installers.
Once the template has been completed changes cannot be made. It is vital you are on site for your template so you can confirm any changes, this allows our team to begin production of your worktops as quickly as possible.
A time slot will be provided the day before the visit. We are unable to provide a time slot any sooner than this.
Our templating and installation team will need to be able to park as close as possible to the entrance to your home. So please make a space on your drive, reserve a place on the street or get a permit if one is required.
The production of Xena Quartz and Granite worktops can take from 7 to 10 working days dependent on the complexity of the order. After the template has been completed your installation date will be emailed over to you within 48 hours. The lead time for our Corian worktop is 10-14 working days.
