Wren Kitchens IT Graduates Pass With Green Colours

Wren Kitchens IT graduates celebrate

The world-class Wren Kitchens IT team celebrates the graduation of its first eight employees successfully passing the IT Academy programme.

The graduates were mentored on a 12-week intensive course in PHP and JavaScript Development and now they will embark in a progressive future working on exciting enterprise projects such as Virtual Reality, 3D CAD planner systems plus web and mobile applications.

As the UK’s number one kitchen retailer continues to rapidly expand, new technology is at the heart of its success and it will be recruiting 100 new graduates next year into its tech team based in Barton-upon-Humber.

Graduate JavaScript Developer, Ben Hide, 34, from Woodhall Spa, said: “I can really see my opportunities here at Wren, there are so many avenues to progress further and I hope to become a senior software developer working on 3D design.

“The academy has really built the fundamental foundations for me and I hope to build upon them as I learn more and more from my mentors.”

“There are so many support branches to enable you to continually develop,” said Graduate JavaScript Developer, Jack Hewitt, 21, from Immingham.

“I’ve been working on various exciting projects including developing 2D and 3D design for the kitchen planner. If you work hard, you’re rewarded for it and Wren recognises that.”
