Wren Hosts Recruitment Event to Cater for Increased Business

As the number one retail place to work, Wren Kitchens continues to expand its business in its tenth year and is looking to fill around 200 various job roles during 2019.

With significant expansion plans lined-up including the opening of nearly 20 state-of-the-art showrooms nationwide, Wren – based at Barton-upon-Humber – is currently searching for 60 customer service enthusiasts to cater for increased business.

On Thursday, 23rd May from 4pm to 7pm job seekers will have the opportunity to speak to the customer service management team, take part in scenarios and have an informal interview. They will also be able to discover Wren’s fantastic headquarters nestled in an idyllic setting with a free onsite gym, subsidised canteens and a purpose-built training academy to help nurture career development.

A Wren spokesperson said: “We’re performing exceptionally well as we continue to expand our retail arm, therefore we need to grow elsewhere in the business with particular focus on our customer service department.

“Our customer service team is vital in creating a positive experience for each Wren customer every step of the way, from supporting with the purchase of kitchens, to installations and aftercare.

Wren was founded 10 years ago by a local family and since has grown to become the UK’s number one kitchen retailer with 78 showrooms nationwide, three hi-tech manufacturing facilities and around 2,000 kitchens every week are delivered in its very own fleet of lorries and trucks.

Overview of the customer service role Wren is looking for:

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm (no weekends/shifts)
  • Salary: Starting at £20,000 plus up to £500 quarterly bonus
  • Benefits: Free on-site gym, subsidised canteens and comprehensive on-site training
  • Where: The Nest, Barton-upon-Humber
  • Relevant skills: GCSE level C or above in English and Math, strong communication skills, good IT skills, customer service experience and the ability to work independently and within a team
