The Perfect Seasonal Tipple: Snowflake Cocktail

Sky Sports Presenter Bianca Westwood has recently transformed the hub of the home with the help of Wren Kitchens to create a showstopping contemporary handleless kitchen design.

To celebrate her Infinity Plus Milano Contour kitchen, Bianca shows us how to make the ultimate festive tipple, a Snowflake Cocktail. 


Makes 4

10 fresh egg yolks

½ tsp salt

1 1/3 cups sugar

½ tsp cinnamon

1 cup brandy

2/3 cup vodka

2 tsp vanilla extract

Dash of champagne to finish


Fill a medium saucepan with 1 inch of water and bring to the boil on a high heat.

In a bowl, mix together the egg yolks, salt, sugar and cinnamon until the mixtures appears a pale-yellow colour.

Whisk continuously and pour in the brandy.

Place the bowl over the boiling water. Whisk the mixture continuously until it thickens. 

Remove from the heat and add the vanilla extract.

Allow the mixture to cool down and then pour into a large glass and place in the fridge.

Once the mixture is cool, remove from the fridge and pour into glasses. Top with champagne to finish.
