Here at Wren, we love to give something back to the community, and over the last five years, we’ve flirted with a few charities: we’ve donated significantly to flood victims in the UK, our MD Armando dressed up as Pudsey the Bear for Children in Need, and we’ve raised money for many other one-off charity events. This year, we’re excited to settle down with a significant other – Wren have a new charity partnership for 2015!

We chose CLIC Sargent as they are a UK-based charity who share our values.
CLIC Sargent was formed in 2005 and is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families. They provide clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to help them get the most out of life. CLIC Sargent are there from diagnosis onwards and aim to help the whole family deal with the impact of cancer and its treatment, life after treatment and, in some cases, bereavement.

We’re hoping to get all 2000+ members of Wren staff on board with us in supporting this fantastic charity, where 100% of our fundraising efforts will be used directly to help those who need it. It’s a great way to unite all of our showrooms with head office, manufacturing, distribution, and hopefully our customers will love to get involved too.

We’ve already been busy planning some exciting events for 2015, including a special Valentine’s event where our staff can donate to ‘Wear Pink or Red’ to work – that, combined with ‘Wig Wednesday’ in May, will make for some excellent photo opportunities and successful fundraising efforts!
