Mayor Opens Kitchen Showroom in Shrewsbury

Today the UK’s number one kitchen retailer, Wren Kitchens, officially opened its 83rd showroom with Shrewsbury Mayor Cllr Phil Gillam cutting the ribbon.

The state-of-the-art showroom at Sundorne Retail Park has created 23 new jobs locally including managers, designers, surveyors and advisors to ensure customers experience a first-class service from start to finish.

Wren donated £500 to the Mayor’s chosen charity, The Samaritans of Shrewsbury, which provides a listening ear and a helping hand for people dealing with stress, anxiety, worries, depression, grief or despair.

The Mayor of Shrewsbury, Cllr Phil Gillam, said: “One of the happiest jobs I have as the mayor is to welcome new enterprises to our vibrant and beautiful town, so it gives me great pleasure to be here for the opening of Wren Kitchens and I wish them the very best in the months and years to come.”

Wren is all about offering its customers affordable luxury kitchens and with 10 million different combinations the possibilities are endless to perfectly tailor a kitchen.

The opening hours for the new Shrewsbury Wren Kitchens showroom will be Monday to Fridays 9am to 8pm, Saturdays 9am to 6pm and Sundays 10:30am to 5pm.
