Last Friday we celebrated the opening of our brand new York store! This is a particularly exciting opening for us as we have gone back to our Yorkshire roots, with a flagship store in York. The new 17,000 square foot showroom opened on Friday, in Clifton Moor Retail Park, and is our 52nd store to date.
To mark this special day, Linda Barker attended the grand opening, putting a face to her exclusive Wren kitchen collection. Linda was thrilled to be there for the opening event and added, “I’m so excited to see Wren open a showroom in York, with a lot of the manufacturing based here in Yorkshire it’s fantastic to complement it with this wonderful showroom; it’s certainly long overdue! The company is going from strength to strength and it’s a privilege to be on board with Wren.”
The superb staff at the York store were also joined by a brilliant local charity, York Against Cancer, who came along for the opening event to receive a £500 cheque donated to them by Wren. York Against Cancer is one of the chosen civic charities this year, closely supported by the Sheriff of York Mr John Kenny and the Sheriff’s Lady Jill Kenny who also attended the store opening.

The new Wren Kitchen showroom in York (www.wrenkitchens.com/stores/york) will be open seven days a week. Opening hours are 9am-8pm Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm on Saturdays and 11am-5pm on Sundays. The showroom will also be open from 10.30-11am on Sundays for viewings only.
