The Wren Difference
Put simply, we here at Wren Kitchens believe there is a better way to buy a kitchen for your home
Here at Wren Kitchens, we use nothing but premium materials to make our kitchen cabinets. All of our carcase ends, shelves and rails are made out of 18mm thick Melamine Faced Chipboard (MFC). The panels we use to make our drawer bottoms are 15mm thick MFC and the back panels of our kitchen cabinets are 8mm medium density fibreboard (MDF). We believe this combination of premium materials couples the best quality with the importance of cost effectiveness.
- Fully assembled and complete kitchen cabinets
- Considerably fewer boxes than flat pack kitchens
- No missing parts
- Superlative quality control on materials, fittings & manufacturing processes
- Each kitchen cabinet is built to order
Great care is taken when building Wren Kitchen Cabinets.
The components which make up our kitchen cabinets are glued and doweled before being clamped at high pressure in a special squaring clamp. This ensures that every kitchen cabinet we manufacture is consistently square.
The kitchen cabinet then continues down the production line where all the final custom components are added such as hinges, doors and drawers. This marks the end of the kitchen cabinet assembly process.
This 'Wren Difference' has been applied to virtually every aspect of planning, choosing and delivering your new kitchen. Just to give you the flavour, here are some examples of how Wren Kitchens do things differently.
Quality control checks are carried out to ensure every kitchen cabinet meets our exceptionally high quality standard, before being packed in robust packaging, ready for delivery.
The way we supply our kitchens is different
Flat pack kitchens are mass produced, normally in a limited range of colours and sizes. Once the panels have been manufactured, they are collated and put into various boxes along with fitting screws, cover caps, hinges, rails etc.
One of the drawbacks with flat pack kitchens include the time it takes to assemble the kitchen cabinets - up to an hour and a half per kitchen cabinet. We love the fact that flat pack kitchen cabinets are cheap and easy to transport but hate the slog of putting them together, especially when there are missing parts which drags out the kitchen assembly process even further.
We think you'd rather have your new kitchen delivered as complete kitchen cabinets, rather than a pile of cardboard boxes. Apart from saving you time and heartache, this gives us the chance to inspect the finished quality of every kitchen cabinet before it leaves our factory. Your kitchen cabinets will arrive full assembled with the doors and drawers already in place. Everything matching, nothing missing, ready for fitting. All as standard.

Made for you... the Wren Way
Not only do we offer much lower prices than our competitors, all of our kitchens arrive fully assembled with the doors and drawers already in place. A flat pack kitchen can take up to an hour and a half to assemble per cabinet, and missing pieces are also very common. Our cabinets also offer a wider range of features than all of our other competitors, as seen below:
