Sales Consultant - Sheffield

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Salary: £14,000 per annum plus commission.
Hours: 40 hours per week.
Responsible to: Showroom Manager
Job Summary
The role of a sales consultant is to maximise sales and offer exceptional service based in a market leading kitchens showroom.
Main Responsibilities
- To monitor sales performance of all consultants within your store.
- To focus on sales, profit, operations, service, KPI's, communications &people.
Principle Activities
- Achieve sales and KPI targets in line with expectations.
- Maintain awareness of new product developments, new initiatives and all promotional activity (eg press/internet ads etc)
- Utilise all documentation to ensure all necessary record logs are fully completed.
- Be fully aware of yours and the stores KPI performance eg: sales conversion rate, accessory sales, appliance sales, finance etc.
- Organise and manage your time to ensure timely appointments but also ensuring availability for walk-in customers.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all unsold quotations receive a follow up call within 72 hours of the plan.
- Participate actively in any on-line customer planning assistance.
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure safety in the workplace of colleagues and customers.
- Take on additional duties when required by your manager if possible.
- Undertake any required training and development.
- If required assist in the development and set up of future stores.
- Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge in order to effectively perform the role.
Working hours will be dependant on rota's ensuring maximum consultant cover of showroom, specifically during peak trading hours (e.g weekends and late nights).
Visits to customers homes may also be necessary on some occasions.
No holidays to be taken during peak trading periods.
