Eco friendly spray

Easter is a time to gather the family together, which means that your kitchen could use a spring-clean. In order to protect my surfaces, and my family’s health, I use a fabulous eco-friendly cleaning spray to help keep my home green.

Hydrogen Peroxide has the chemical equation H2O2. That’s just one part more oxygen than water! It is so simple to whip up a bottle of your own eco-friendly spray, and then get cleaning. This wonder mixture works on all kinds of surfaces – worktops, kitchen cabinets, the floor (particularly useful when training a new pup!) and you don’t need to worry about getting it on your hands. I wouldn’t recommend drinking it though, and remember to supervise little helpers at all times.

What you will need:

Instructions

  • Take the lid off your container
  • Pour in equal parts hydrogen peroxide and cooled boiled water
  • Squeeze in some fresh lemon juice
  • Put the lid on and shake the mixture up
  • Say hello to easy cleaning!
  • Follow along with the video, and voila!

    Living in the kitchen

You’ve heard it one hundred times and you’ll hear it again, but everybody knows that the kitchen truly is the heart of the home. A place to cook, eat, talk with loved ones, laugh with new friends, and make wonderful memories. There is nothing nicer than giving a beautiful homemade gift, or sharing a tasty new recipe with your loved ones. I hope you've enjoyed seeing how I live in my kitchen, and you're feeling inspired to get creative in your own.
